Some colours, patterns or work in a fabric are truly opulent and they elevate even a simple dress to an extravagant level.

I came across this beautiful, bright yellow jute silk material with the same colour embroidery on it and decided to make a sharara with it. The fall of the fabric was amazing and it needed no embellishments.

I paired this sharara with a gray gotapatti border georgette dupatta with heavy stone and pearl jewelry for an outdoor photoshoot and the results were captivating.

On May 1st, 2024, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series Heeramandi was released on Netflix and all the songs started trending on the social media.

One of the songs, ‘Sakal ban phool rahi sarason…’, penned by Amir Khusrau about Basant Panchami and depicting the glory of the colour yellow which rules the nature during the season, had our heart immediately.

We had this perfect ensemble in our collection, hence couldn’t help but recreate this beautiful, trending reel. For this, I used a muted gold net dupatta with embellished border and green-white gold plated Kundan and pearl jewelry to complete the look.

We loved the final result. Which look you like better?
